XLC CR-A03 Chain Tensioner

XLC Chain Tensioner CR-A03

Designed for single-speed hubs, the XLC CR-A03 chain tensioner is made from black aluminium and is compatible with 16-20 teeth using derailleur hanger mounting. The chain tensioner helps prevent the rear wheel from shifting forward automatically, thereby reducing pressure on the chain. The CR-A03 features a chainline of 32mm (6-38mm) and a centre-to-centre (C-C) measurement of 68mm. The XLC chain tensioner is not suitable for bikes with coaster brakes, such as children's bikes, as these components need to be mounted in the same location on the bicycle.
