XLC 2-1 Function Pump PU-A04
This mini pump is made of high-quality aluminium. The pump hose for AV and SV valves allows comfortable handling even at inaccessible bike positions (rear shock). Thanks to the 2-way pump system, you produce up to 7 bar pump pressure during both the pumping and the pulling movement. A pressure gauge shows you when the desired tyre pressure has been reached and the release button allows precise pressure adjustment. The adjustment wheel on the pump housing allows optional pumping with increased pressure or increased volume.

Pumps, which are equipped with a two-way system, build up pressure in both directions(both for the pressure movement as well as for the pull movement of the pump piston) The inflation process is so highly accelerated.
For pumps fitted with high-power mode, it can be chosen between two pump modes.The pumps can be selectively switched over from the pump mode with a high volume into a pump mode with high pressure.This allows an extremely fast inflating of the tire with the final achievement of the desired pressure in the high-power mode.
The gauge is a pressure measuring device for capturing and displaying of air pressure, such as bicycle inner tubes, forks or rear shock absorbers. Some of the XLC air pumps are serially ecquipped with manometers.
The Schrader valve is often found in mountain bikes. It also is used in motor vehicles, therefore it is often also called auto valve.One advantage of the Schrader valve is the possibility to inflate the tires on gas stations without the use of adapters.
The Sclaverand valve(also called french or racing bike valve) is high pressure capable and is suitable for MTB,racing or also tour bicycles.Condition for the filling is the screwing of the small knurled screw which is positioned on a threaded pin.In comparison to a car valve which close through a spring , the valve on the bike is closing up by overpressure of the tire. It dont has to be open mechanically because it opens itself already at a small pressure difference.
