The fastest riders now get even faster with the evolution of our Equipe SS jersey. Targeted patterns and elegant details that give the model the perfect finish form the next generation of ASSOS-typical speed and equally characteristic comfort, ready for any race.

It was no easy task to improve our time-honoured Equipe RS jersey, which is why we paid particular attention to the smallest details. Details that count when a fraction of a second makes all the difference. The result of this improvement process is the Aero SS jersey: it combines fine patterns and elegant details that not only round off the design, but at the same time have ushered in the next phase of ASSOS aerodynamics, which we call aeroFit.

In the beginning, we used our miniCheck Tex material with circular knit, which has already proven itself many times over and stands out as a particularly elastic 3D knit material, in the development of which we particularly wanted to integrate breathable as well as moisture-wicking properties. At the back, our stabilising material is used, which keeps the jersey in place thanks to its structure of short, vertical stretch. The race position that riders adopt, which is particularly designed for speed, has also contributed to the choice of our material for the new open-edged bonded sleeves, yoke and pockets, which need to be as soft and flexible as possible. With its high UV protection (USF 50+) along with its quick-drying, bi-stretch properties, our fine push pull jersey layering formed the basis on which we built.

Besides the more precise aeroFit pattern, the additional purposeful details also contribute to improved comfort and speed. The first details can be admired at the front; an incredibly lightweight bonded camlock zip, sealed seams at the waist and a combination of open-edged bonded sleeves that promise both comfort and support. At the back, we've incorporated our tried-and-tested 'Triple Ramp' concept pockets, allowing you to stash items effortlessly when you're on the move. The model is rounded off by the incorporation of a lighter elasticated hem, which continues to add to the lightness of the creation.

Details

aeroFit: Our slimmest cut, designed specifically for speed and fits tighter than our racingFit, which also provides a higher level of compression. It can feel quite restrictive out of the riding position, but fits like a second skin in the riding position.

miniCheck Tex fabric: An open 3D knit structure that excels in air exchange. Quick drying and incredibly light. Despite its light weight, it has USF 25. Integrated odorControl, which ensures durability and hygienic conditions.

Push Pull: The pockets and sleeves were made from our specially developed jersey layering Push Pull material, which has high UV protection (USF 50+). This fast-drying fine-knit fabric with bi-stretch features high breathability as well as high wearing comfort.

Stabiliser material: A feather-light but strong material that is ideal as a cooling insert at the back of the jersey. Despite its low weight and volume, it maintains its stability and shape - and even offers a USF of 30 to boot.

"Triple Ramp" concept pockets: Our specially developed storage design features its three pockets with flap, which guarantee easy access, security as well as stability thanks to their optimal position. There's also an opening for your headphones in the right pocket, while the micro-perforated bonded reflector ensures you don't become one with the dark.

Bonded zip: The incredibly lightweight bonded full-length camlock zip allows you to effortlessly adjust the temperature to your personal conditions. An insert has been incorporated into the collar section, which has been produced using a special plastic processing process and, thanks to this stabilisation, allows the zip to be opened or closed with just one hand.

Open-edged and bonded sleeves: Sleek, wrapped front with a bonded back, ensuring the best possible balance between comfort and stability.

Sealed seams at the waist: Bonded edges improve aerodynamics and add elegance to the fit.

Lightweight hem at the back: A wide, secure and elastic hem that ensures you are not disturbed by friction while riding. Lighter and even more breathable than the previous generation.
