Heat treated alloy tool steel, one inch base fits spanner or vice. Thin-walled design allows use without disassembly of cones and locknuts. The FR-5.2G has 12 keyways approximately 23.4 mm in diameter.

- Fits Shimano, SRAM (including 1x), Sunrace, Suntour, Chris King and other cassette lock rings
- Also fits some Shimano disc brake lock rings
