The Cinturato Velo is Pirelli's new tubeless clincher tyre designed for protection and comfort without compromising on performance.

Main Features:

The reliability of SmartNET Silica technology combined with the tubeless comfort and durability of the new Armor Tech technology brings a new generation of folding tyres. This has a unique DNA with the perfect performance for long distances and varied terrain.

Armor Tech™ construction (patent pending) combines various components, in order from the inside out that the 60 TPI nylon - add the casing underneath:

• High-density nylon layer from bead to bead that protects against cuts and improves stability. At low pressure, these help make the carcass airtight when used with liquid sealant.
• High density corrugated belt of aramid fibres under the tread, providing protection from punctures and sharp foreign objects.
• Aramid fibres in the tread rubber compound (SmartNET ™ Silica) are divided into two layers:
  • an outer one (cap) which guarantees performance (dry and wet, mileage, contact feel),
  • an inner one (base) which, thanks to a higher number of these fibres, slows down the penetration of foreign bodies into the underlying layers
