New layer theory on the bike: 3 zones x 4 layers + eco-friendly manufacturing = intelligent weather protection. In the new hybrid Primasoft jacket, VAUDE combines a classic softshell material with membrane and Primaloft padding. The result: a stretchy, partially wind- and water-repellent jacket that insulates the body zones most affected by cooling. All this in proven VAUDE Green Shape quality, as the main material is produced in an environmentally friendly way according to the bluesign standard.

The construction: outer fabric and inner material are identical in each zone, the difference takes place in between. In zone 1, in the chest and shoulder area, a 100% windproof and waterproof membrane protects the body zones that are most exposed to the riding wind from cooling down and getting wet. Airy-light and finely structured, the Primaloft Silver Insulation Eco padding keeps the upper body warm. Zone 2, in the lower area of the front and back, has a membrane but no padding. Zone 3, on the back and in the underarm area, does without the membrane.

This increases the breathability and stretch of the fabric. The jacket follows your every body movement and allows you to evaporate to the back on sweaty rides. This product is made with Eco Finish environmentally friendly water repellent without fluorocarbons (PFC).
